Are you open
all year?
Our 7 bedroom home and our 3 bedroom home are available
for rentals throughout the entire year. Our cottages are available for
rentals from opening day of Walleye season in May to mid-October.
What day do your weekly rentals begin and end on?
Our weekly
rentals run from Saturday - Saturday during our prime season. Prior to
mid June and after Labor Day we have more flexibility with our schedule.
Do you allow
extra people?
We accept extra people in the cottage with prior
approval from the management. There is an additional per person charge.
What
time is check-in?
Check-in is
between 2 PM and 4 PM only during our prime season. A late check-in fee
will apply for all arrivals later than 4 PM if you have not made prior
arrangements with us.
Do you allow
early check-in?
Unfortunately we cannot allow early check-ins during our
prime season. We have limited time to perform our maintenance tasks, and
cannot guarantee early availability
Do you allow
late checkouts?
Unfortunately we cannot allow late checkouts during our prime season. We
need every minute to perform our maintenance tasks.
What time is
checkout?
Checkout is no later than 10:00 am. Be sure to leave
yourself time enough on checkout day to clean up after yourselves.
What
do we need to bring with us?
Pillows,
Blankets, Sheets, Bath Mat Towels, Kitchen Towels, Coffee Filters Toilet
Paper, Paper Towels, Tablecloth for Picnic Table, Garbage Bags, Dish
Soap, Bath Soap, Food, Cutting Board, Extra Cutting Board for Fish,
Charcoal, Grill Brush, Board Games, Books, Basketball, Volleyball,
Portable Radio.
Do you allow day visitors?
We allow a limited number of day visitors at no
additional charge. Please check with management for parking arrangements
and other important information.
Do
you have a boat launch?
Yes. Our
boat launch will accommodate boats up to 19ft in length. There is a
public boat launch about 1-½ miles away. Our docks will accommodate
boats up to 24 ft in length. We had limited availability of the larger
docks spaces.
Do you allow
docking for more than one boat per cottage?
During our prime season we cannot guarantee more than
one dock space per cottage. If you would like to bring more than one
boat, please inquire as to additional dock availability.
Is
there a swimming area?
We do not
have a swimming area; there is a public beach with a lifeguard about 1-½
miles away.
Do you have
a playground?
Yes, we have a play area. We have swings, slides, a
volleyball net and a basketball hoop. We also have a croquet set and
badminton set to loan out.
Do
you have a fire-pit?
Yes, and we
supply the wood. It’s a popular activity and many new friends have been
made around the campfire.
Do you have
cable TV?
Yes we have cable TV. If you wish to bring a VCR or DVD
player along, feel free to do so.
Do
you have a fish cleaning station?
Yes we have
a fish a self service cleaning station (meaning you clean up after
yourself)! The hours of the station are from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Please
bring your own cutting board to use at the station.
Do you have
electric at the docks?
We are pleased to now offer electric at the docks. This
is excellent for charging your trolling motor batteries. There are also
lights on the docks now.
Can
you fish off the docks?
Yes, we
have a fishing/sitting platform on the docks. Fishing off the docks has
provided our guests many hours of enjoyment.
What do I
need to do to get my whole security deposit returned?
The place must be left clean and with no damage. We
provide cleaning supplies, and a detailed list of what must be done
prior to departure.
What if I have to cancel my reservation?
Our
cancellation policy is as follows: For all cancellations made 60 days in
advance or more, the full amount will be refunded, minus a $100.00
cancellation fee. For all cancellations made less than 60 days in
advance, the balance will be refunded upon re-rental of the unit, minus
a $100.00 cancellation fee.
When is the
payment due?
Half the payment is due at the time of the reservation.
The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. For all bookings made less
than 60 days in advance, payment is due at time of reservation. Security
deposits are due at the time of arrival.
Do
you accept pets?
No, we do
not accept pets of any kind.
Do you
accept credit cards?
We currently do not accept credit cards.
